As part of the reorganization of the Aftermarket TrainingCenter, the Technical Service has also been put under new management and is now under the leadership of Frank Schmidt. The challenge of the future will be in providing workshops with vehicle-specific information so that they can perform professional repairs or servicing on modern vehicles. The work of the TrainingCenter is divided into several areas - Best qualification to increase and maintain market share:
Qualified employees are the most important asset of repair facilities which want to successfully increase and maintain their market share in an increasingly competitive market: Well-trained mechanics find faults more quickly and carry out their work properly. This improves profitability, reduces the number of complaints received and improves customer satisfaction. This is especially important for work carried out on brake systems as brake repairs are among the most important profit earners for independent repair facilities.
- Practice-oriented training:
Regular training is the only way of preparing staff for the increasingly sophisticated operations which have to be performed on modern brake systems. The Aftermarket TrainingCenter offers a comprehensive range of training courses for this purpose: Along with courses on common topics in the field of brake technology, we also offer customized training courses consisting of an individual selection of modules.
- Knowledge that is always up-to-date:
The practical experience of repair facilities and new knowledge from the development of original equipment are incorporated into the training content on an ongoing basis. For repair facilities that want to "stay on the ball", it is worthwhile sending staff to repeat a course they have already completed in the past at regular intervals.
- Training courses in Eschborn or on site worldwide:
Aftermarket training courses are held in the TrainingCenter in Eschborn. In addition, our team is able to carry out modular training courses on site anywhere in the world.
The Technical Service is divided into the following units: - Technical Hotline – and a FAQ database that will be available online soon:
The technical hotline provides support and assistance to all workshops who have technical questions about Aftermarket products. Qualified staff are available on telephone number 01805 221242 (14c/min via German landline, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) as well as via e-mail (ate.hotline@continental-corporation.com). Additionally, a FAQ database will be available online soon.
- Large range of tools:
Vehicle and repair-specific tools are essential for performing professional repairs and servicing on modern hydraulic and electronic brake systems. Workshops can explore the entire tool range right here on the Internet: You’ll find the entire range of ATE tools as well as the tools catalog.
- Technical documentation:
The technical documentation unit creates and provides workshop-friendly documents to our customers and the Aftermarket TrainingCenter. The unit also creates safety and installation information that are often submitted via Internet or as CD/DVD. This saves time for the customer and increases the profitability of the workshop.
